ATHWAAS: Cleanliness drive of Teilbal Nallah continues with added momentum

SRINAGAR, MAY 25: The cleanliness drive of Teilbal Nallah is going on under the ATHWAAS initiative of the government and today the drive was started by Gazalla Abdullah, Project Officer, Lake Conservation and Management Authority who started it by collecting the garbage from the adjoining Nallah.

Besides the Project Officer, 25 students from Gastalts Public School took active part in the said event.

The Project Officer made the students aware about the cleanliness of the surroundings particularly of the water bodies. She said that it is very necessary to involve children in such activities as these are our future and they can safeguard our Dal and other water bodies more efficiently and effectively if they get aware in such ways.

She thanked the students for taking part in the drive.

Among others, Range Officer and other officials of LCMA were also present there.
