3-day Block Level Training cum Orientation Programme of Youth on Investor Awareness and Education concludes at Pahari Hostel Rajouri

RAJOURI, MAY 25: The three Day Training cum Orientation Programme of Youth on Investor Awareness, Education and Protection organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Rajouri concluded today here at Government Boys Pahari Hostel .

Chairman, District Development Council, Adv Naseem Liaqat was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

It is pertinent to note that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs signed an MoU with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports under which rural youth are to be educated about financial matters and impart investor awareness education and protection. As part of this MoU, 4 block level training programmes are to be organised in Rajouri district.

The programme witnessed participation of more than 80 youth from all over the District Rajouri. In this event, Subject Matter Experts from financial, investment and banking background delivered lectures on the prescribed topics and educated the youth on safe Investment Avenues and Opportunities.

The participants were provided boarding and lodging facilities at the venue.

While speaking on the occasion, Adv Naseem Liaqat, Chairperson District Development Council Rajouri, congratulated the youth for undergoing the Orientation Program and exhorted them to act as ambassadors for spreading the message further at their block and village level. He further said that the youth should take maximum benefits from the government schemes. “The programmes like these are unique in nature as it is very rare that training on such theme is organised in rural areas” he said.

Nitin, District Youth Officer, NYKS Rajouri said that Rajouri was among the only 5 districts of J&K UT where these programmes are being organised. He said that the other programmes shall be held in Sunderbani and Thannamandi. He further elaborated that Special Yoga, Cultural and Games sessions were held for the Participants.

The event concluded with the remarks of Rajinder Sharma, Assistant Warden, Govt Boys Pahari Hostel. He thanked the Chairman DDC for visiting the camp and motivating the rural youth. He further thanked NYKS for holding such important events in the Hostel Campus and expressed hope that the same shall be held in future also.

The event concluded with distribution of Participation Certificates among the Participants.
