Mega Poshan Maah & Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan programme organized in Ghagwal

SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 21: Department of Integrated Child Development Services organized a mega event on Rashtriya Poshan Maah and Jammu & Kashmir Nasha Mukt Aabhiyan here today at Nonath Ashram Ghagwal.

Deputy Commissioner Samba Anuradha Gupta was the chief guest and SSP Samba Abhishek Mahajan was the Guest of honour .

The programme was attended by BDC Chairman and DDC member Ghagwal, District Programme Officer Samba, PRIs of subdivision Ghagwal, BDO Ghagwal, SHO Ghagwal, Anganwari Workers and Helpers, Supervisors and many other people.

The CDPO Ghagwal started the programme with a signature campaign in support of Rashtriya Poshan Maah and Jammu & Kashmir Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan.

A pledge on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was also taken by the participants.

The DC Samba, in her address, appreciated the work of Anganwari workers and directed them to play an active role in eradication of drug abuse in addition to the Poshan Maah awareness campaign.

SSP Samba highlighted the efforts of District Samba against the drug peddlers and opening of Rehabilitation Centres.

BDC chairman and DDC member Ghagwal appreciated the efforts of CDPO Ghagwal, Supervisors, Anganwari Workers & Helpers for their daily activities during this POSHAN Maah, 2022.
